Trade Analyst, Trade Operations

The Trade Analyst is responsible for supporting trade sales and distribution activities at NPC. This position supports the business at a tactical and operational level. The person in this role will have the responsibility to collaborate externally with our direct trading partners and internally partner with various departments such as Order to Cash, Finance, Supply Chain, and Market Access.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Primary point of contact for all operations related to our direct trading partners and responsible for all order to invoice functions including but not limited to:
• Monitor SAP to ensure that orders and credits across all product portfolios are processed in compliance with DEA regulations and SOX key controls
• Identify, escalate, and resolve issues impacting orders, shipping, and delivery of products. Work closely with Trade Account Directors with any escalations of issues.
• Resolve account inquiries and requests while capturing and entering the data into a tracking system to gather and report on performance metrics.
• Accountable for the compilation and analysis of various reconciliation reports for expired, technical return, price adjustment and unused dose credits within defined financial controls.
• Responsible for the administration of various programs in compliance with general services agreements and task orders.
• Perform analysis on direct trading partner data to discover trends and anticipate problems. Generate and deliver standard reports as well as providing input into future reports and data to provide recommendations to senior level leaders.
• Adhere to and assist in the authoring of applicable Working Practice Documents (WPDs), Work Instructions (WIs) and Compliance Guidelines.
• Support the sales and distribution activities for the entire Novartis Product Portfolio including Radioligand Therapy, Gene Therapy, Cell and Gene Therapy and Innovative Medicine.

Role Requirements:
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1+ years of progressive business experience in pharmaceutical industry, sales & distribution and/ or customer support
• 2+ years of analytical experience
• Ability to manage tasks and consistently meet deadlines
• Effective interpersonal and time management skills, and an ability for productive collaboration across varying departments
• Detail oriented problem solver who can make clear-headed decisions while under pressure
• Ability to synthesize actionable insights from multiple data sources with demonstrated, advanced analytical skills and capabilities
• Ability and desire to work both independently and within a team
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel, telephony and navigating systems related to product ordering and case management preferred

Desirable Requirements:

• Degree subject area in business or related preferred
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, Sales and Distribution module a plus

Location: East Hanover, NJ  (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $40.52 - $53.15/hour based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)
Contract: 6 month
