The Summer Associate role will support the design, development, and prototyping of agentic AI systems. In this role, you will work at the intersection of agentic AI architecture and hands-on engineering. You will help design agent workflows while also building and testing AI agents that can reason, plan, and execute multi-step tasks using tools and data.

This internship is ideal for candidates who enjoy both thinking about how AI systems should be structured and building them in code.
Year of graduation can be 2026 or 2027.

Major Activities
Agent Building & Engineering
Build and prototype LLM-powered AI agents using modern agent frameworks

Implement agents capable of:
Tool and function calling
API and data source interaction
Structured outputs and reasoning flows

Agentic Workflows & Architecture
Help design agentic AI workflows for multi-step task execution
Support development of multi-agent systems with coordinated agent roles
Assist in defining agent responsibilities, handoffs, and communication patterns

Contribute to workflow orchestration patterns such as:
Planner–Executor
Supervisor–Worker
Reflection and self-review loops

Evaluation & Improvement
Test and evaluate agent behavior, accuracy, and reliability
Identify failure modes such as hallucinations, looping, or incomplete reasoning
Assist in refining prompts, agent logic, and workflow design
Document architectures, experiments, and learnings

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION
Candidate should be in an accredited degree-granting college or university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Major in quantitative subject (e.g., Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineer or related field) strongly preferred.

LANGUAGES -
Fluent in English (oral and written)
proficiency in Python

Familiarity with:
Large Language Models (LLMs)
Prompt engineering
Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity-driven mindset
Excel in problem solving and strategic thinking. Develop innovative, resourceful solutions to complex, unstructured problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Competencies
Experience or coursework involving:
Agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel)
Multi-agent systems or workflow orchestration
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

Familiarity with:
Vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate)
APIs, JSON schemas, MCP, and function calling
Personal projects or research involving AI agents or GenAI systems

Business Impact
Accelerate US Commercial decision-making and execution by supporting the design and build of agentic AI workflows that enhance brand strategy, insights generation and customer engagement.
Enable scalable and responsible AI adoption by contributing to real-world agents (e.g., insights, call planning, analytics, and orchestration use cases), helping establish reusable patterns that support measurable business outcomes.
