Role Summary:

TA SOLID TUMORS DE

The Sales Representative is a key driver of our customer interactions and overall commercial performance. You will serve as the face of our customer experience approach, building strong, trust-based relationships that deliver value to healthcare professionals and patients, while driving sustainable and compliant business growth.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Drive Competitive Sales Growth
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential customers (HCPs and stakeholders) who influence prescribing decisions through data-driven analysis.
  • Enhance sales performance by orchestrating impactful, positive customer experiences.
  • Engage and Build Relationships
  • Conduct value-based (in-person and virtual) conversations to understand critical customer challenges, decision drivers, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Personalize and manage customer engagement journeys by aligning with HCP preferences, leveraging available content, and utilizing multiple communication channels.
  • Develop long-term, sustainable relationships with HCPs that foster ongoing collaboration with Novartis.
  • Deliver meaningful, customer-centered experiences that go beyond clinical differentiation by addressing customer needs and understanding their healthcare environment.
  • Build effective relationships with key opinion leaders and leading medical influencers within your territory, challenging existing behaviors to improve the patient journey (ensuring the right treatment for the right patient at the right time).
  • Develop Deep Customer Insights
  • Gather insights into customers’ business priorities and identify what matters most to them.
  • Track customer feedback and translate insights into actionable strategies that add value and exceed expectations.
  • Use available data sources to create, prioritize, and adapt territory, account, and customer engagement plans dynamically.
  • Continuously share customer insights with relevant internal stakeholders to support the development of product- and indication-specific content, campaigns, and engagement plans.
  • Deliver Value to Customers and Patients
  • Collaborate compliantly across cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address unmet customer and patient needs.
  • Act as a trusted partner to customers — listening to learn, strengthening relationships ethically and transparently, and positioning Novartis as a creator of value-added solutions.
  • Demonstrate integrity and honesty by engaging with customers and colleagues in a transparent and respectful manner. When faced with ethical dilemmas, do what is right and speak up when something doesn’t seem appropriate, in line with the Novartis Code of Ethics, Values, and Behaviors.
