In this role the candidate is working closely with the LDC SCM Design Lead, LDC Manufacturing Design Lead and the team of Logistics / Manufacturing Design Managers together to help to structure the upcoming activities according to the workload in the team. We are looking for a highly skilled SAP EWM consultant with PM skills.
The candidate must be able as well to work on project operational tasks and deliverables as a solution design manager for own warehouse and being responsible for delivering them according to project timelines.

Tasks:
• Act as the Business Solution Manager responsible for Logistics W&D own warehouse in close collaboration with the GPO (Global Process Owners), Business Champions, Functional IT Experts and the LDC Adopt counterpart.
• Responsible to elaborate deliverables as per the project plan during conceptual design, build and adopt phase. Below is a list of such deliverables (not exhaustive)
o Ensure a proper design of the solution to set up and integrate Novartis’ own warehouses in the upcoming LDC releases.
o Establish or update business standard operating procedures.
o Review and adopt, if necessary, the training material and working instructions
o Execute business screening of IT solutions and testing of solution(s)
o Support and contribute to data migration in Logistics W&D own warehouse area.
o Align and agree on integration of relevant processes and their respective system solution(s) within Logistics W&D e.g. in the area commercial operations, Intercompany Order Management and Direct Procurement
o Ensures that user requirements and functional specifications are consistent with global / local processes.
o Contribute to master data preparation for Screening, Testing and cut over.
o Supports the adopt team to ensure proper go live of the upcoming releases.
o Secure business reporting requirements in Logistics W&D together with the Reporting and Analytics team
• Verifying the existing core model for own warehouse based on SAP EWM together with the Global business process owner for Logistics at Novartis and preparing proposal for areas for improvement.
• Follow up on cross-functional topics e.g., staging with manufacturing and proposing together a solution design that is aligned with the global process owners.
• Taking over project tasks in conceptual design, build, UAT testing & training, cutover & hyper care phase according to need within the team

Requirements:
• Several years of experience in Supply Chain working in logistics within the own warehouse area in a manufacturing side ideally in the Pharmaceutical Industry
• Several years of experience of SAP implementation projects and deployments of the SAP EWM solution, ideally in a team lead role.
• Various years’ Experience in implementing own warehouse setups and understanding to translate process requirements into solution and being able to verify if the solution meets the business requirements.
• Fast Self-learning attitude
• Forward thinking
• Experience in integration with Manufacturing execution processes and systems e.g., MES system
• Committed against timelines within the given time frame in a fast-paced project environment
• Being able to lead people and advise the team
• Ability to work independently and in a structured and careful manner.

• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing work environment.
• High degree of teamwork and quality orientation
• Ability to operate in a global matrix environment
• Capability to moderate workshops with business champions to work on requirements and challenge them if required
• Being able to talk and present to higher management within LDC and outside of LDC, to retrieve guidance and force decisions.
• Fluent English

Workload: 100% (40 hours per week)
Role type: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)
Required start date: October 2025
Contract: 12 months
