2026 IDS Summer Intern – AI Product Manager
The AI Product Manager Summer Intern will work alongside business, product, and engineering leaders to help shape and deliver real-world, AI-powered products. This role is designed for someone excited about the intersection of AI, product thinking, and business impact.
The internship will focus on business discovery for AI and agentic use cases, applying an adaptive product mindset to iterate, optimize, and scale solutions that drive measurable value. Interns will gain hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle—from strategy and discovery to delivery, adoption, and measurement—while contributing to initiatives that are actively used in pilot or production environments.
This is an opportunity to learn how modern product teams build, launch, and scale AI-driven solutions in complex, real-world settings.
What You’ll Work On
• Support business and user discovery for AI and agentic use cases through stakeholder interviews, problem framing, and opportunity analysis
• Help translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Contribute to product requirement documents (PRDs), roadmaps, and backlog artifacts with guidance from experienced product leaders
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams on UX flows, prototypes, and solution concepts
• Analyze and document AI-driven workflows, decision logic, and automation opportunities
• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to understand how products are delivered end to end
• Support change management and adoption efforts, including training materials and communication plans
• Assist in defining and tracking success metrics to measure value realization and outcomes
• Conduct market, competitive, and internal research to inform product decisions
What You’ll Gain

Minimum Requirements
• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Year of graduation can be December 2026 or 2027.
• Strong interest in product management, AI/ML, and digital transformation
• Familiarity with product management fundamentals (e.g., discovery, requirements, roadmaps, agile concepts)
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and communicate ideas clearly in writing and presentations
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with common productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., PowerPoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets, Confluence, Jira or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
Location: East Hanover, NJ (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: (W2 Only - based on Education and Experience)
Masters $35.00/hour
MBA $43.00/hour
