 Data Cloud Business Analyst
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Data Cloud Business Analyst to support the implementation and evolution of our Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform) initiatives. In this role, you will serve as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to translate customer, marketing, and operational data needs into scalable, insight-driven solutions.
You will play a key role in designing data unification strategies, enabling audience segmentation, and ensuring business teams can activate high-quality, real-time data across Salesforce applications and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
●Collaborate with business stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Service, Product) to gather and document requirements for data use cases powered by Salesforce Data Cloud
●Analyze existing customer and operational data sources to support unification, identity resolution, and schema design
●Support the creation of user stories and functional requirements for technical teams
●Work with data engineers and architects to define and validate data models, ingestion flows, and harmonization logic
●Work with Data Analysts to design and validate segments, calculated insights, and data activation strategies in alignment with business needs
●Conduct impact assessments and readiness evaluations for new data use cases or releases
●Monitor performance and adoption of Data Cloud-powered features, such as real-time personalization, next-best actions, and dynamic journeys
●Help define and track success metrics for Data Cloud enablement, including data quality, user adoption, and business impact
●Support user training, onboarding, and documentation of best practices for leveraging Data Cloud capabilities

Qualifications
●Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field(Master’s preferred)
●6 - 8 years of experience as a business analyst or product analyst, ideally in a CRM, Martech, or data-driven environment
●2-3 years of experience working in agile or hybrid-agile teams
●Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem, including Marketing Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud and Data Cloud (CDP)
●Experience with CDP platforms (Segment, Adobe CDP, Salesforce CDP, or similar)
●Understanding of data modeling, data governance, and customer identity resolution
●Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize insights from large, complex datasets
●Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
●Experience with tools such as SQL, Tableau, MCI, Snowflake, or similar is a plus

●Understanding of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) and their impact on data usage
●Ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment with evolving priorities
●Passion for delivering data-driven customer experiences
●Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and attribution modeling

Location: East Hanover, NJ (3 days/week)
Pay Rate: $94 - $105/hr based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)
Contract: 6-month
