Senior Automation Engineer

Sr. Automation Engineer needed to provide DeltaV equipment programming, commissioning and qualification support which shall include but not limited to the following items:
• Author/review/execute required documents, including, but not limited to:
o URS
o Specifications (configuration, software, design, functional)
o Commissioning/qualification plans
o Commissioning protocols
o Qualification protocols
o Risk assessments
• Create/modify DeltaV configuration for required equipment functions
• Create any required PI tags for responsible equipment and perform necessary testing
• Provide support for Commissioning and Qualification activities for the required systems
• Collaborate and work directly with GTxNC team members to complete project deliverables. Ensure to stay informed on general project information including but not limited to decisions, changes, plans of work, due dates, and issues
• Attend project meetings related to implementation, document reviews, schedule reviews and to fully understand automation scope for responsible equipment
• Track deliverables and milestones and escalate delays to Automation/Project Management
• Escalate project or technical changes, issues, risks, and outstanding decisions to Automation/Project Management

Experience:
At least 5 years of related experience required

Location: Durham, NC (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $72 - $107/hr based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)
Contract: 5 months
