HSE Technician
The Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) Associate is responsible for supporting all HSE compliance aspects of a 24/7 operation for a GMP Radioligand Therapies Production Facility.
Your key responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise, assistance, and/or oversight for the HSE programs at the facility.
Occupational safety programs (e.g., LOTO, confined space entry).
Environmental programs and requirements for air, hazardous waste, wastewater, stormwater
Hazardous materials shipping regulations.
Radiation Safety Program
Incident investigation (Root Cause Analysis) and corrective/preventative actions implementation oversight
Training programs
Assist the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) by:
Serving as an Authorized User and backup to the RSO
Performing radiation surveys and wipe tests
Assisting with spill and contamination response
Maintain knowledge of and ensure strict adherence to all applicable regulatory compliance standards and internal company standards for HSE, including Radiation Safety
Occasional travel
What you’ll bring to the role:
Requirements (mandatory: every candidate who is considered must have the qualifications described here)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Health Physics, Health & Safety, Engineering or related field
2+ years of health, safety and environmental (HSE) experience.
English fluency required
Good oral and written communication skills.
Experience developing and implementing HSE programs
Experience in a cGMP or equivalent environment with strict quality standards
Familiarity with HSE regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA, NRC)
Technical writing experience
Shows the appropriate sense of urgency around given tasks
Location: Millburn, NJ (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $29 - $35.60/hour based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)
Contract: 3 months
