The Marketing Trainee/Postgraduate Oncology supports the Swiss Oncology Marketing Team in implementing agreed brand and cross-portfolio priorities across Breast Cancer, Hematology and Prostate Cancer. Working under the guidance of experienced marketers, the trainee contributes to campaign execution, omnichannel activities, performance monitoring and selected cross-functional projects, while building practical pharmaceutical marketing capabilities.

Major Accountabilities:

Omnichannel Execution and Marketing Materials:

  • Supports the implementation of omnichannel plans across relevant customer touchpoints and channels.
  • Coordinates the development, adaptation and approval of promotional and non-promotional marketing materials in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Tracks execution and engagement metrics, consolidates learnings and recommends potential improvements to the brand teams.
  • Ensures activities and materials comply with applicable policies, procedures, internal standards and Code of Conduct requirements.

Cross-Functional Tactic and Project Support:

  • Supports the planning, coordination and implementation of agreed cross-functional tactics and selected national or regional projects.
  • Collaborates with Marketing, Sales, Medical, Access and other relevant functions to align deliverables, timelines and operational next steps.
  • Supports specific initiatives such as local market research and launch-related activities according to business priorities and experience level.
  • Maintains project trackers, follows up on agreed actions and provides clear status updates to the responsible project or brand lead.

Ideal Background:

  • Bachelor/Master in Business Administration and/or Life Sciences or equivalent experience/education
  • German and English; French is a plus
  • Proactive, curious and willing to learn
  • Collaborative and comfortable working across functions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Structured, detail-oriented and reliable
  • Able to manage several deliverables and timelines
  • Open to feedback and able to work with increasing autonomy
  • Agile and adaptable in a changing environment

Workload: 80-100% (32-40 hours per week)
