Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HE&OR) Fellowship - Remote
Summary:

One year, full-time Post-Doctoral Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HE&OR) Fellowship to provide training and hands-on experience in a broad-range of health economics and outcomes research opportunities at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation in East Hanover, NJ. Fellow will gain experience in how a pharmaceutical company uses clinical, economic, and humanistic data to support the development and commercialization of products. Specifically, the fellowship will provide experience in:
Business application of HE&OR research
Research skills through the execution of HE&OR research studies, including study methodology
Research activities may include literature reviews within a specified disease or therapeutic area, development of economic models, medical chart review studies, patient surveys, database analyses, burden of illness studies, PRO development
Project management experience
Networking and collaboration with internal stakeholders, such as Market Access, Clinical Development, Medical, Marketing, and Health Policy
Position Requirements:
PhD (or similar) in a HE&OR related field, including Health Services Research, Health Economics, and Epidemiology.
Good understanding of HE&OR methods including development of economic models, conducting indirect comparisons analyses, literature reviews, meta-analyses, database analyses and PRO development.
Ability to assess and summarize health policy and health outcomes literature.
Background in quantitative research (e.g., successful completion of courses in epidemiology, biostatistics, econometrics, pharmacoeconomics, cost-effectiveness models, psychometric analysis, quality-of-life, etc).
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Demonstrated success in working in teams and independently.
Location: East Hanover, NJ (Remote)
Pay Rate: $34/hr-$36.89/hr/Hour W-2 Only (based on Education/Experience)
Contract: 12-month
