About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced External Design Consultant to support the adaptation and localization of global marketing assets for the German market. The consultant will work closely with international
brand, marketing, and content teams to ensure that global creative materials are accurately adapted, visually consistent, and locally relevant. This role requires strong design execution skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within established brand guidelines and regulated
approval processes. The ideal candidate has advanced experience in Figma, solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, and familiarity with Shaman Go or similar content management and localization platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt and localize global design assets for the German market across digital and print channels.
  • Work from existing global master files and adjust layouts, copy, imagery, and formats according to local market requirements.
  • Create and update design materials in Figma, ensuring consistency with global design systems and brand guidelines.
  • Edit and prepare visual assets using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Support asset preparation, upload, and version management in Shaman Go.
  • Collaborate with international and local stakeholders, including marketing, medical, regulatory, and brand teams.
  • Ensure all materials follow corporate brand standards, accessibility principles, and local compliance requirements.
  • Manage multiple localization requests and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Review final assets for visual quality, formatting accuracy, and language layout consistency.
  • Provide recommendations to improve workflow efficiency and asset consistency across markets.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a graphic designer, digital designer, or localization designer, ideally within an international or corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including working with components, design systems, templates, and collaborative workflows.
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially:
    • Photoshop for image editing and asset preparation
    • Illustrator for vector graphics and layout adjustments
     
  • Experience using Shaman Go is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of design adaptation and localization processes.
  • Ability to work within strict brand guidelines and predefined templates.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially in typography, spacing, layout, and visual consistency.
  • Ability to manage feedback from multiple stakeholders and incorporate revisions efficiently.
  • Comfortable working in a structured review and approval environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with medical, legal, and regulatory review processes.
  • Experience adapting omnichannel marketing assets, including banners, emails, social media content, presentations, detail aids, and print materials.
  • Knowledge of accessibility and digital design best practices.
  • Experience working with global-to-local content adaptation models.
  • Experience supporting the German market or working with
  • German-language assets

Workload: 37.5 hours per week
