Platform Support Specialist
The purpose of a Platform Support Specialist is to provide ongoing operational support for the technology platforms that enable the Meetings, Congress and Events Team. This role helps maintain efficient, user-friendly platforms by coordinating minor enhancements and updates, supporting ongoing optimization, assisting with testing and data flows, and providing day-to-day user support and training.
Major Accountabilities
• Support the day-to-day administration of technology platforms required for Meetings, Congress and Events operations, including HCP Program database & submission workflow, Registration Portal, webcast and virtual meeting portals, CVENT, and related systems.
• Coordinate platform updates and enhancement activities to help ensure systems continue to meet business needs and align with established processes and best practices.
• Help ensure the platforms provide an efficient and seamless user experience for field users, speakers, and attendees.
• Support ongoing platform enhancements, minor feature updates, and testing activities to help maintain effective and reliable platform performance.
• Support data flows in and out of technology platforms, including Roster, Transfer of Value, Master Data Management, and related systems.
• Track and help resolve technical issues identified within the systems by working with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Assist in gathering requirements and reviewing current platform performance to support minor updates, process improvements, and ongoing optimization based on evolving business needs.
• Contribute to platform optimization by identifying opportunities to improve functionality, usability, and alignment with existing systems and business processes.
• Support ongoing platform administration by coordinating minor configuration changes, maintaining integrations, and assisting with updates that improve performance and usability over time.
• Execute testing activities and document results to help ensure platforms meet requirements and that issues are identified and addressed promptly.
• Provide user training and day-to-day support to help ensure effective and consistent platform use.
Education & Qualifications
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience
• 3-5 years of relevant experience supporting technology platforms, ongoing system enhancements, operational support activities, or project coordination is preferred for this role.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industry environment is advantageous, particularly where compliance and process discipline are important.
• Working knowledge of technology platforms for event management, webcast and virtual meeting portals, or similar systems is desirable.
• Experience working with vendors or cross-functional partners to support issue resolution, enhancements, or service delivery is beneficial.
• Familiarity with data management, integrations, and system-to-system data flows is important.
• Exposure to user acceptance testing, platform updates, minor configuration changes, or system integrations is valuable.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are important for working effectively with stakeholders and supporting platform performance.

Location: East Hanover, NJ (Remote Considered but needs to work ET)
Pay Rate: $50/Hour - $57.69/hour (W2 only - based on education and experience)
Contract: 6 month
