Senior Brand Producer, Video Production – Center of Excellence

The Senior Producer plays a critical role in driving creative and operational excellence across select high-impact brands within the Center of Excellence. Embedded within the Video Production Center of Excellence (CoE), this position helps shape scalable production processes and playbooks that ensure compliance, elevate content quality, and deliver measurable efficiencies. In close partnership with their supervising manager and the Senior Production Business Manager, the Senior Producer architects and evolves production frameworks that support brand objectives, while leading ongoing optimization initiatives. Additionally, they mentor junior producers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous improvement across the video production ecosystem.

As a strategic production lead embedded within high-impact brand teams, the Senior Producer brings over 7 years of experience in video production, creative operations, and cross-functional leadership. This role blends deep expertise in Novartis’ business and creative standards with end-to-end ownership of complex projects—from concept through delivery.

Functioning as the central authority for all video content across assigned brands, the Senior Producer ensures fiscal transparency, creative alignment, and seamless coordination of internal and external production resources. This integrated approach drives operational excellence, eliminates fragmentation, and ensures every asset delivers on brand, quality, and strategic intent.

Key Responsibilities
Co-develop and refine scalable production frameworks and playbooks in partnership with supervising manager.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned brand teams on all video/photo production needs.
Partner upstream with Marketing Strategists and the Content Lab to align on strategy and creative direction.  Work with Content Lab at key touchpoints to maintain appropriate creative excellence.
Lead all internal video projects from briefing through delivery, owning budgets, timelines, and resource allocation with a focus on efficiency and creative excellence.  Be the source of truth at all phases of production.
Closely Partner with Production Business Management to ensure appropriate oversight of productions on assigned brands.
Provide guidance and oversight to external triple bidding, vendor selection and production including geographical distributed editorial teams.
Provide strategic guidance to maximize asset value, elevate opportunities for re-use, and ensure consistency across media types for assigned brands.
Ensure all production partners are aligned to brand objectives and creative standards.
Drive cross-brand synergies through shared production opportunities and resource optimization.
Monitor and manage performance metrics, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality outcomes.
Stay current with video production technologies and trends, implementing best practices to enhance offerings.  Support rollouts of automation and AI tools in coordination with supervising manager.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance across the production team.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in media production, communications, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in video production, creative operations, or program management within in-house agencies, creative studios, or marketing departments.
Proven leadership in managing brands, creative agencies, production houses and complex production workflows.
Strong understanding of brand development, social media content, and multimedia storytelling.
Deep understanding of production technology platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite, Frame.io, standard budgeting tools and project management platforms.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and coach across teams and geographies particularly with distributed editorial teams.
Experience with financial oversight and vendor management, and operational excellence in a matrixed organization.

Location: East Hanover, NJ (Hybrid 3-5 days - as needed)
Pay Rate: $95-$110/hour based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)
Contract: 6-month
