Technician, Science & Technology - Analytical Development

Bench to bedside! This exciting role serves as technician supporting the innovative arena of analytical development for our CAR-T cell therapy products. The successful candidate will work with and be a part of a talented and experienced team in our Technical Research and Development organization at East Hanover, NJ. The candidate will be responsible for the coordination and execution of lab support and lab management activities to enable the team to operate effectively and efficiently. They will interface regularly and build relationships with each team member and other functions to drive success of the activities and projects while maintaining the highest quality and integrity standards. This individual will uphold Novartis Values & Beliefs and Code of Ethics to successfully support our bold mission of delivering effective CAR-T cell products for patients in need.

Job Description
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Lab support, management, and operative roles (e.g., sample cryopreservation, cell bank generation, point of contact for storage alarms) as necessary for business continuity. May require ad-hoc evening/weekend hours.
• At minimum, ordering, shipping and receiving reagents and samples; organizing labs, maintaining inventory; support equipment logbook review; support onboarding of new suppliers
• Record and maintain meticulous records in compliance with Quality standards
• Communicate effectively and present updates/processes/systems within the department
• Author and review role-related documents (e.g., instrument SOP’s, training SOP’s) to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency and clarity
• Establish and/or support tracking and trending systems, and programs, which assist in the testing, evaluation and monitoring of quality and efficiency of lab operations

**Weekend work could be required.**

Requirements::
• Minimum: AS or BA/BS in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology or other related science
• 3+ years (AS), 1+ years (BA/BS) of experience in industry or academia
• Enterprise and self-motivated work ethic with experience in logistics
• Expertise with aseptic technique and mammalian cell culture
• Detail-oriented, proactive and well organized
• Ability to work in a regulated environment
• Excellent writing, communication, and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment


Location: East Hanover, NJ (Onsite Role)
Pay Rate:$20.04 - $22.55/hour based on experience and qualifications (W2 only)
Contract: 12 months
