Specialist Patient Engagement 

Reporting to the Country Patient Engagement Lead, the coordinator will support the creation of meaningful strategies to help engage patients through a multitude of forums to ensure that the patient engagement and advocacy initiatives are developed, executed and evolved in line with Novartis’ Code of Ethics with the voice of the patient engrained throughout the process.

The individual will assist the PE lead in ensuring all aspects of the daily operations run effectively and efficiently, identify and resolve upcoming issues, improve processes and channel information, ensure quality deliverables.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Work collaboratively across-business unit and/or functions to bring in critical patient insights to inform corporate strategies and key decisions.
Drive patient advocacy and/or engagement activities and build a patient-centric reputation for Novartis
Build appropriate program engagement strategy, ensuring cross-functional alignment
Stay current with relevant information and resources regarding industry and health care legislation. Providing updates regularly to the disease community and organization

Requirements:
University degree University degree in science, health sciences or administration
Bilingual (English and French)
Two – Three of coordinator experience within the pharmaceutical industry
Ability to communicate effectively and negotiate at a high level of professionalism.
Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills
Understanding of the Canadian public health system, health technology assessment and reimbursement processes.
Intrinsic motivation and autonomy.
Patient oriented

Location: Quebec, Montreal (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $34/hour CAD  based on qualifications and experience
Contract: 3 months
